Little's incredible journey includes surviving multiple jungle animal attacks and a tragic fall that left him with a fractured leg. While being cared for by a dog sitter, he accidentally fell 15 feet off a balcony while racing towards his food, breaking his leg. Despite the painful injury that didn’t heal perfectly, Little’s resilience has shone through.
Here is a picture of the bite from the pizote attack and the after-healing transformation. Mrs. Alex slept on the floor with him for over a month to keep him company, treating his wounds daily and giving him the medication he needed. Miraculously, today, the injury is barely visible.
We are now raising funds to get Little's leg operated on. It's possible to fuse the bone so he can run again. In the meantime, he is on a strict diet to help reduce the weight, making it easier for him to manage until the surgery. Little's strength and courage continue to inspire us every day.
